On May 18th, Blockchain Institute sponsored Chicago University Blockchain Summit Conference at Northwestern University at the Pritzker Pavilion Downtown Chicago, IL. The event was put on by several Illinois universities intent on highlighting the many benefits of this transformative new technology. Clubs from Northwestern University, University of Chicago, DePaul University, The University of Illinois in Chicago, and The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign were all in attendance. The gathering featured 25 speakers in all. Cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology, and their impact on various industries were among the topics discussed. With +150 attendees, 7 universities, and 7 sponsors, it’s fair to say that CUBs 2019 was a success.
